This type of treatment has fantastic results, and is particularly suited to improving the smile, closing gaps between teeth, correcting stained and old thin teeth, repairing chips and correcting rotated teeth to give a straight and even smile.
Veneers are quite literally a thin slice of porcelain, which is bonded to the prepared surface of an existing tooth. Once you have decided to go ahead with veneers, the process is very simple. A radiograph of your teeth will be taken, and a full assessment made of your mouth, bite, and smile. If necessary, the area to be treated will have a mould made to see the exact placement to the teeth and the remedial work to be done can then be fully assessed.
Ideally we like to give you prototype veneers to try out your new look before any treatment takes place. This way you can feel comfortable with your new improved look, and we can make any adjustments necessary to perfect it.
Once the prototype has been successfully tried, the tooth or teeth to be corrected are prepared, and the veneer is carefully crafted to match and enhance your existing teeth.
